Ahhh need your guys help...im stumped ab a Z
Well..I just sold my car (00 c5) and am looking for a new ride now. I WANT an 05 PPW w/black aka charcol leather which means touring model...fine right? I was in the dealer today and there is not one like that ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND! Also NO SPOILER is a must for me! So then he told me that they could A- send the car out and get leather (2000 bucks and still won't have the options that a touring has that i want)...or B- order one which will take 90 DAYS!!! ahhh thats wayyy to long to be without a car! So now I am leaning towards the Daytona Blue w. charcol leather touring model...which he said they don't have but they can get with time...now HOW HARD IS THIS BLUE TO KEEP CLEAN! i have had every color out there with cars in the past, but not like that...thats why i was heading towards white to begin... DAYTONA BLUE DRIVERS...CHIME IN!!
Hey, welcome to the forum.
I have a Daytona Blue, and I don't think it's hard to keep clean at all. I can go 2+ weeks without completely washing my car, and it doesn't look any where as nasty as black cars -- I just spray it with water after a week, then drive off to let it dry, and it seems fine.
Daytona blue and Pike Peak white are pretty rare when compared to other Z colors, so finding those two colors in the exact trim you want can be hard. But the color looks pretty cool in direct sunlight after a nice wax job, so I really like it. Check my link below for a few pics.

Do some more searching in the forum...there are a few aftermarket leather seat covers that look good and will cost a lot less the the stealership's two grand. That is if you can put up with the Enthusiast models options.
Hi i LOVE my Blue Z!!! i would say its the 3rd hardest to keep clean after Blk, white, blue..
the funy thing is i actually ENJOY washing the car as you admire the deph of the color close up! and it doesnt really get all that dirty cause it has soem darkness to it...
I live in oregon where theres LOts of rain and oily roads, my car need washing about every 2 weeks i can go 3 in the summer if i use a cali duster inbetween washes...
of the few z i see running arround here, Im the only blue one ive seen.. !!! i love getting compliments from onlookers..
hope that helps!!

I personally fell in love with the Daytona Blue the first time I sat in it on the showroom floor. It's the color I had to have and I got the last one in Northern California this past October. The mechanic coming out of the shop confirmed my choice when he said" Thats the best color they make in the Z". It's rare, looks great, is easy to keep clean and boy does it get the looks!!!!
