Default how old is everyone here?

the z is a pretty expensive car. i am turning 23 tomorrow and i feel im pretty young to be buying a new 350z, since they're so pricy. how old are all of u guys? and those of you younger than me, you'd better have had your parents help u out or something, cuz its damn hard to get a car this new, this nice at such a young age.

I'm 24 and the car's mine. I pay for it wif my jobby job and the fact that it's cheap as hell to live in this city. It's nice to handle your own stuff, but don't hate on kids who's parents pay for their rides. If I could, I'd take a free Z and a free place to live too! I'm proud, not stupid.

We've discussed this coming up on 1,000,000 times.

And even if you are young and paying for it on your own, you should really think about spending so much on a CAR.

cranium, why would you even care who the young ones are? This is just an excuse to flame the kids who have parents who "spoil" them by buying them nice things. You even said your self you`re just trying to see who all the spoiled brats are. What`s your deal? Parents refuse you some love during your childhood or something? So now you go around bashing young Z owners who lucked out and got parents who have deep pockets?

Sorry if this sounds harsh man, but this thread is rediculous.

17.

No doubt it feels better when you actually are able to purchase the car yourself. I know the feeling, its like its actually yours, and no one can give you **** for it no matter what. I appreciate that, but you also can't admit you would pass up the oppurtunity if it was given to you.

I purchased my motorcycle all by myself. That thing is my baby, no one can touch it except for me. I clean it like it's my life and just really appreciate the hard work I put into it. It's a 2004 GSX-R 600 orange and black with quite a few body modifications.

I paid for the majority of my first car by working for a year without spending a single paycheck. It was an older 95' m3, and the age had a factor with wear and tear so my parents decided they would help me afford something newer and more relialbe. So with their help I picked up a 2003 350z SB coupe.

It doesn't have the same feeling as my motorcycle, its a really awesome vehicle, but I feel like I am driving someone elses car. I love it to death but its just not the same.

I traded it for a brand new roadster touring in SB which I'm picking up this weekend. I am paying the difference from my 350z to the roadster which means Im gunna need a summer job, anyone hirin'? lol

whatever. free speach dude. if u dont like it, get a mod to close it. i personally think its irresponsible of parents to buy their kids hella ncie cars like this because it doesnt teach them the value of money, plus they're more likely to crash it because they're young adn stupid. i love seeing parents wonder why their 16 year old crashed that new G35 or whatever they got em. start em off slow with a civic or something, then once they're better driving, give em a car they can kill themself in more easily. even if i was rich as hell i'd make my kid drive a beater for a while to make em realize the value of money. thats what bill gates is doing. smart *** dude.

hey jakillo,

thats what i want to hear. it dont matter if you're young. u worked hard for it, and that makes u love it 10x more than these kids who get em bought for em and if they crash it daddy will just em another one.
