people first.com and the dealers!
I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THEM.I CALLED MY DEALER FIRST AND ASKED THEM WHAT THIER BEST RATE WAS FOR EXCELLENT CREDIT- THEN I CALLED PEOPLE FIRST AND GOT THIER RATE .People first was 2 %lower and gave meAN OK in 5 minutes .Recieved the check in one day took it to the dealer and when he tried to sell me his loan I told him you already had your chance .IT WORKED FOR ME -THE PROBLEM WITH MOST PEOPLE IS AT THE DEALER THEY LET THE DEALER TAKE CONTROL.It's your money -your car -and your call.STAY IN CONTROL AND YOU'LL WIN OUT ALWAYS.

However...
I agree that the man with the money in hand is in control; however, when the dealer has at least a $1000 of your money in his pocket and the car you've waited months for ... it pushes the advantage to their side.
Not to mention the PF phone rep says that I need to do an application, take the draft to the dealer, have the dealer rejct the draft, have PF call the dealer, and return the draft before they'll issue me a certified check!!!
All I want is the car and a fair transaction without having to jump over a million hurdles in the process. IS THAT ASKING TOO MUCH??
PS-This a great place to vent your frustration.

Current rates are between 4.08++ dependeing on the customer. The online lenders make it seem real easy to the consumer, but they are a REAL PITA for dealers. Keep in mind, dealer will do what they can to get a car delivered. The "Drafts", get bounced for the slightest of reasons, and dealers are left with no money, and no car, until the dang draft clears or is approved. We take them here, but just be aware there is more to it than what the companies present to consumers.
