Default New Guy Here

Hello to all, I just purchased a 03 SB Track with Nav and after driving it a couple of days got the roaring sound when I slowed to a stop...it was loud. Anyway, took it to the dealer and it was the tire feathering and I was five months out of the warranty extention that Nissan had in place to take care of the problem, so to make a long story short it was fixed for $788.00 and the problem is gone. I still love my Z, but am worried that I have to repeat this process 6k to 10k miles down the road. Should I keep the car or should I sell? one more thing: how do I post a picture. Thks!

For $788 they better have done alot! What did they do ? Sounds like they just replaced an item or two and did an alignment..............

Welcome to the boards. yep, that was the feathering. How many miles on your Z? There was an extension put out on the warranty from nissan. Not sure on the specifics, im sure someone can chime in. Cant believe you had to pay 780+$. I say keep the car if you really like it. There is a very good chance the feathering will come back but there is a real small chance it wont. if you dont mind geteing new front tires once a year, I say keep it. The joy of driving the Z is worth it to me. BEN

They replaced the two front tires and did the alignment along with adjusting the rear toe which was out of line. My car has 24K miles.
