New 350z
Hello everyone,
Traded in my Titan for a 350 Z over the weekend. It's a long story I had an 03 Z (Red) and loved it. Wife gave me so much c**p about how impratical it was so I got a Titan. Liked the Titan, but missed the Z every day since. Got sick of gas prices and traded the Titan for another Z (got a good deal). Wife did not like the decision but will get over it. Told everyone on titan talk that I bought a Z and they all hated me (bunch of good old boys). Anyways this is where I belong as I am a true sports car guy and love the Z . I hope people on this forum are more forgiving then titantalk.
Anyways glad to be here and look forward to getting some good input from expereinced Z tuners/ drivers.
Anyone know of some decent upgrades for the Z to get some nice gains in HP that will not break the wallet ?
Also this Z feels faster then the last one... any reason ? I have the performance model.

Welcome back . . . you made the right choice
The Z feels faster because you've been driving a truck and forgot how good the 350 feels!
Mods . . . well "decent power gains" and "wont break the wallet" usually dont go hand and hand but you might want to just stick with intake, exhaust, headers, all the basics, read the threads you'll see what everyone else is doing.

Congratulations on your folowing your dream and not following the herd or the wife. I considered the Titan before I bought the Z but have never looked back. The most common mods Iv'e seen are the JWT popcharger combined with the Nismo Catback exhaust for the most bang for the buck. Keep the faith and don't let them get to you (the wives with the guilt trips).

Why didn't you get a Murano, instead of the Titan?? At least you could've had a more sleek looking ride...Hell, even the Xterra and Pathfinder look better than the Titan IMO.
Also, I would never let a wife, GF, etc. dictate what I will buy, unless we are a 1 car family and/or children are involved. I mean, why is she complaining if she has her minivan or SUV anyway??
I guess you REALLY would have pissed her off if you bought a S2000 or Miata (Practicality Factor on BOTH = ZERO....LOL!!)
