Default Finally! Pics of my baby (car) for all!!

These were taken about 4 hours after a fresh coat of Meguire's new detail spray.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel. First shot is 1/250 seconds @ F4, but the key is a low F-Stop and close relatively close proximity to subject. That gets you the blurred background and narrow depth of field.

Hahaha, we have someone reading my EXIF data eh? Heh!

I also processed these in CS2 quite heavily. The last two used lens blur to help tone down my boring street background.

Don't you feel so violated?

Nice shots BTW. I's done some shootin' in my days (and happen to have one of those Canon D-Rebels). One of the first shots I took when I got it below, just to test it out and see how everything worked and looked. Great camera IMHO (though I miss my Hassys and Nikons, this satisfies my desire for something more than a small P&S).

Certain sharpness lacking there, but it shows the depth of field thing well. Don't worry, not the whole portfolio, but here's an example of a shrunken full frame of the crop (both below). These are just handheld quick snaps taken at whatever time I went outside, there's nothing terribly amazing about them. Lens is just the cheap 18-55mm lens that came with the body. Although I was sure I was going to sell/replace the lens, I was pretty surprised at how well that $99 sucker did.

:: thinks back to the days of spending $2.5K+ on one Hassy lens ::

Ohh heck yeah. I've got a Canon S110 that does an amazing job for its size as well, but it won't do what its big brother Canon can do. I think a coworker has that Pentax Optio S4. It's new, and it's definitely a Pentex Optio, but I'm not sure what model. It is really small (something about fitting into an Altoids box). She loves it.

Can't fit the stinkin' D-Rebel into an Altoids box, at least not without voiding the warranty.
