Default Realizing the Z is more than a Car.

I have had only four cars in my life, three of which i still own. a 1997 TT Supra, 2001 S2000, and the latest enjoyment a 2003 350Z. Lately I have been considering a more mature garage to keep and was in the thought process of selling my Z, perhaps for a truck hehe. Anyhow, i continuelly reach the same point in my thinking that prevents me from actually going ahead and selling the Z. Frist off, my Z has been plagued with my warranty issues- all of which were resolved without ANY reluctance. For instance for Supra that i have owned for for about two years now has never had single problem other than a battery and a rear-end rebuild (the rear was normal wear i assume since i bought the car with 67k miles from the previos owner). My S2000 only had one problem too, the tranny would grind and the clutch would buck under normal conditions. MY Z however, has led me down a path similar to what a Benz would normally travel. All in all i have more warranty work done on my Z than all my carsa combined.

Still i have yet to find out what atually keeps me from selling this car and have come to this conclusion (if any of you feel similar)- if this car is giving me this many problems and i have yet to realize or decide to sell it, dont you think its more than a car? i think its Z, a legend, perhaps a way of life.

wow you have quite a garage there...good work! It would be a very hard choice for me too if I had to let one of those 3 go...

TT Supra - King of highways
S2000 - King of the track
350Z - King of getting you laid

Damn you need everything! This is giving me a headache! Sorry bro can't help you out...have to go take an advil and sleep it off. =P

why? that wouldn't help my situation; perhaps worsen. if i trade any car for anything it will be the Z for: (CAR) M45, GS430, or a used 6sp G35, (TRUCK) Nissan Titan 4-door or a new Jeep Wrangler 4.0. The only reason why i "want" a new car is mainly a convience and cargo reason. i just need something i can throw reasonably sized items in without destroying something or without leaving a window/door or trunk open.

just curious: why would you have both a Z and a TT Supra..? In your opinion, how do the two compare?

Never buy a first year anything - not even a Nissan, Toyota, or Honda.

I need to replace my nearing 8 year old Honda SUV and have been looking at the Toyota Tacoma which pimped is about 28K ... but this year they re-engineered the truck so I'll sit this year out and look at a 2006.

The Z is truly more than a car ... it's a Zen thing.

I bought a first year Durango (98) and it never missed a beat. However, I looked into the truck first and knew it was based off the Dakota frame and used a 5.2L (318) engine which had been around for quite some time.
