Default my 350z modification plans.

Alright originaly i had planned on getting a Mustang v6 or GT, i seen the 3dcarbon colors for a white mustang and thought they was cool.

Pictures here of what i seen. Yes i know its a mustang but i plan to do this to a 350z, but not exactly the same.
http://www.3dcarbon.com/BKpop_021.htm
http://www.3dcarbon.com/BKpop_072.htm

So i purchased my self a white 350z, its a v6, good gas milage and well it has power and its a light car.

1: put a red stripe right down the middle of the hood between the two lines on the hood, make it follow all the way down the back at same thickness.

2: Chrome Wheels, i like the Chrome Z wheels isntead of my grey ones, might see better ones, but no plans than going bigger than the factory size, they look awesome size wise to me already.

3: Possibly a rear spoiler that doesnt block rear view mirror? I have not got in a Z with a spoiler on the back but my rear view is dam important to me, if i cant find a spoiler that doesnt mess with the view i wont have one. I also dont like the tiny little lip spoilers but maybe my mind will change.

4: Paint middle of the rear spoiler with the red line and the sides of it red like the pictures above.

5: K&N filter.

6: Probably any thing that says it will increase gas milage + performance with in reasonable cost but i wont be falling for the tornado system hehe.

7: i love the Visage Body Kit, would love to get ahold of just the front end and add that to my 350z.

8: Tint my windows more than they already are, they seem tinted a little but i think they can be more.

Any suggestions, ideas, Criticism of my dream. Btw i am not interested in adding alot of performance at the cost of gas milage, i love the power it has now, im not ever gonna race, but i do love feeling like im king of the road when i drive hehe.

Suggestions on wheels, spoilers, paint, paint jobs, any thing i said. I just need to wait about 9 months to pay off my Z so the modifcations can start hehe.

Before doing anything to your new 350Z, I suggest you go to this thread:

"New 350Z owners, read this before doing any modifications to your Z".

I hope this helps, good luck.

Probably the only mod I know that will give you an honest increase in gas mileage + better performance is an ECU reflash.

Sounds like you know what you want ... I can't say I agree with your styling options but to each his own.

i read that before modifying thread, i think im pretty safe from voiding warrentys or changeing the dynamics of my car, its simply going to be stock with a different visual look and different wheels with same measurements, i really like the chrome Z wheels.

And yeah Z2000Maximaguy every time i tell some one a red stripe they go RED? BLEH, you should go black or blue, some one even said girls love blue. But i like red, blood red on white.

Red strip down the center.....you might have been better off going with the Mustang!!

I'm pretty sure you and I have different styling tastes from what you said you wanna do to your Z...but what you said is definitely doable. Just...what didn't you buy the mustang instead?

I don't know about the 05's, but the last generation mustangs handle like ****. That's at least one reason to get the Z...

For wheels check out the Volk SF Challenge in topsecret gold. I know they aren't chrome, but they are gold colored and have a chrome lip and they do look amazing on a white Z. For the spoiler, check out mine (click on the link in my sig), its not a lip spoiler but it also doesn't block your rearview. I definantly agree on the Visage kit, one of the best out there. The paint stripe across the middle, IMO it doesn't fit the Z as good as it fits some other cars (I've seen a few photochops of it on the Z) but thats just my opinion... might look better in person.

Has anyone flashed their ECU? And if so where and how much?

As to why i didnt buy a mustang? very simple the 350z is better in my opinion, the dealership droped the price to near same as a mustang GT and i said hot dam i want it.

Besides i feel i made the wiser choice in getting a 350z. Gas Milage, Car Weight, Options, Power, Handling, with in the 30k range or below what car is better? 350z.

Secondly i never seen a stripe done on a 350z yet, if i can pull it off succesfully it will be really nice.

@Jaki your spoiler looks like its what im looking for, ill check out the wheels a bit later when i got time, off to work now.
