the only problem i ever had with these guys is that they d1cked me around a little bit with my rims. i was all set to order them from F1 motorsport, but i called them (PN) to see if they could get them more quickly, they told me they could get them by the end of the week. end of the week comes... no rims... i go to europe for a month. come back, no rims... finally i said screw this, and got them from somewhere else who had them in stock. not a big deal guys at performance, i love you, but honesty is ALWAYS appriciated and if you cant get the part, or dont know when you can, tell us we will understand and probably wait. great company other than that one small thing which really dident cost me anything other than a headache or two. sorry to hear about your troubles jetpilot.

I've also had well I will just say experiences with performance. In the end everything has come out great though and I am a completely satisfied customer. They know when they screw up (which they do - like every other business on the planet), and are willing to step up to the plate and satisfy their customers when they do.

Thanks for the following parts ordered from P Nissan.
Nismo Exhaust - shipped to the wrong address initially - eventually got here though.
JWT Intake - this was in the same previous order
JWT Intake Cleaner - this got here first try!
Bose Subwoofer Cover - shipped to me twice because the first part had a giant scratch on it.

A separate experience I ordered 1 particular part. 3 times this part was shipped to my home and each time it was the wrong part. The claim was that Nissan NA part numbers were not matching the website. After a few tries the correct one eventually reached my door step.

Thanks for the great prices and eventually correct parts! I enjoy them every day on my car!

sf winnings in gun metal, rare i know so the fact that you couldent get them was understandable. it was just the fact that you were not totally honest about when you could get them that ticked me off, not the fact that you couldent get them. id rather have you tell me 2 months and have them arrive in 2 weeks instead of the other way around. oh yea i delt with you. lol as i said though, still love you guys, all your other work has been great.

I guess I don't really understand this thread. If Performance Nissan fixed the problem or misunderstanding, how is that shady business pratice? They satisfied your needs. Didn't they (YES!!!)? Then why are you complaining? If you can buy the item from someone else - DO IT!!!

I had a very good experience with Performance Nissan.

I've ordered from Performance Nissan in the past with no complaints other than that they are in CA and so am I, therefor I have to pay that damn CA sales tax. This can add up to a significant amount on large orders.

I also agree that if you have a problem with a company it is better to deal with them directly instead of going on a public forum and titling a thread "shady business practices". The word "shady" is too strong. If the thread starter had used the word "questionable" and asked for other readers opinions then I'm sure this thread wouldn't have become so heated.

I think that was before we were direct... and the people we were buying from gave US false information so they could make the sale to us and then to you...

That problem doesnt happen now

I've ordered stuff from performance nissan, and i got such GREAT customer support that they have my blessing, and i have previously ordered (and will continue to do so) great stuff from them, and i'm 7500 miles away... so that states what kind of trust i put in the capable hands of Jeff and Jason.

Just my 0.02 but i think you got treated just fine, and you even got off without the 15%, so what's the deal mate?

I've bought thousands of dollars of stuff from Performance Nissan - I got my NISMO exhaust, brake pads, graphics kit and body kit from them, along with all sorts of odds and ends. They have ALWAYS taken care of me. When they sent me the brake pads, I got two sets of front pads. One phone call, and I had the new set sent to me right away, and I returned the extra set. Easy. The only NISMO stuff I haven't bought from them is stuff I found waaaaaay too cheap somewhere else (like the NISMO headers for $600 ), but I would not hesitate to recommend them for buying Z stuff. And I'm in Florida, so its a shame I cant take my car over there for install too....

I was one of Jeff's early customers when Performance was just getting going on this site. I would not hesitate to order from them. If you do have a problem give them a chance to fix it before attacking them.
