REGRET- What mods have you regreted/ changed and why?
Regrets - Spending more on mods than I spent on the car itself! With brakes, wheels, cams, APS TT kit, HKS F-Con engine management, HKS Blow off, HKS Boost controller, APS 3" exhaust, gauges, Methanol Injection system, APS 3.5" test pipes, APS Tall Boy Plenum, APS Tough Boy strut bar...i've easily spent more on mods than i have spent on purchasing the car. And there is no end to it....
Likes: The look on the face of the poor guy that happened to challenge me on any given day!

I respect your opinion, but I will have to disagree with you on this one. I have the Blue/White and It makes a noticable Tint to the entire array compared to having all white or a standard bulb. It also tints the entire headlight blue/white when the park lights only are on. It is less Noticable than an all Blue so you dont have as great a risk of being cited by the cops either. I am very happy with mine.
As for myself, I don't trust any mechanic/installer. If you don't know them, you can't trust them because to them, it's just another car. Hard working honest people are hard to find these days. As for me, I am going to learn how to install stuff myself. That way, you not only save money, but you know you've done a good job.
Same with washing your car. Most places will miss a spot here or there. Only by doing it yourself do you get all nooks and crannys. Plus you get to spend some time with your beautiful car in the sun!

after pretty much modding all the bolt-ons and flash tuned, i pretty much regret everything. Now i realize i should've just kept EVERYTHING stock and just added a turbo and nothing else. Straight up out of the box and thats it. just with that you'd be at ~350WHP. Sigh...the agony of modding...

You say Hey 2 years from now I wanna be at XXXWHP. So you look at what you need to get there. List out the parts that you will need to get there and break it up into phases. Preperation for power adder, Support of power adder, and Making the power adder safe and reliable, More power.
So if you do this you identify what you need right off the bat. Buy the best stuff so you wont waste money buying duplicate items. Dont get ahead of your self, if you are not ready to add 600whp on stock motor DONT DO IT. Build the engine first. That type of thing.
Just my .02. And the $18K I have in the car.
I think you're right punish_her.
I just got my 06 Z and have about $6000 to start modding. I love the car and think it's pretty great stock, but I know I'll want more. I'm thinking about going with a Turbonetics or Greddy turbo setup. Either this or wheels/tires, LSD, motordyne MREV, and a pop charger. This decision is driving me crazy.
