Wholey Smokes - Get a turbo kit... I cant believe you're even considering those other mods OVER a turbo kit... get wheels/tires and an LSD later on.... but If I were you I would buy the turbo.

+1 for all. For the money you get the most power, $6000 if you shop arround you can get the kit and a few extras installed for $6000. But as I said befor do not just jump in because you have money hole burning in your pocket to spend. Just breath and relax and get you wish list completed then work slowly. Patients young Jedi.

Skunk2 plenum spacer... should have read first. Lost the strut bar, and the plenum is rubbing my hood... and so is the Injen CAI...

now I look like a tool with rub marks in my sex-Z yellow hood...

don't forget the labor cost with a turbo and some of the extras you'll need.

but yeah, I agree with the patience thing. You're better off really learning things inside out and really plan out what you want and how you want your car to drive than just pulling into a shop and telling them you want a turbo and just slap it on with no clue about things otherwise.

the other thing is don't buy too much into reviews on smaller mods. If someone is reviewing a turbo kit and going ^%$#%$$#!!!!!!!!! then it's probably pretty fast. If someone is reviewing their new intake and exhaust and going %$#@$#@$!!!!! just remember it's about 1/8 of the "holy crap" factor compared to FI

Yeah, I have some experience with turbocharging NA cars. I built a custom turbo kit for my last car so I am not concerned with install costs. I do all the work myself.

Oh, and I still have a Profec E0-1 and turbo timer.

You guys are definitely right about the money burning a hole in my pocket, though.

I regret still NOT deciding between the Nismo CAI V2 or the JWT Pop Charger, after 18 months of owning the Z! I have a K&N OEM filter replacement in the meantime.

I do NOT regret the LMGT4's w/Pirellis or Nismo exhaust, [nor the Nismo Ti shift ****] and recommend it for all you stockies looking for big-bang-4-the-buck mods.

Can't wait to get the Nismo headers and cams, 3.9 final drive and full S-Tune suspension to complete my mod list... coming this year! And then I can start saving for the GT-R!!!

Regrets:

Initial buying method:
buying all nismo from the factory at the initial sale which rose car price to over 43,000. (should have bought the z used and saved money cause i see alot of z's on ebay and already tt'ed up for way less than i paid..

Parts:

grill- have done 3 different grills i didnt quite like.. now im gonna get a nismo bumper.. to eliminate a grill.. i have the nismo lip now.. but will prob end up selling the whole bumper w lip..

koyo radiator- bought koyo radiator off ebay and i didnt realize it was oem replacement because it was cheap and i jumped on it... the catch was i got a koyo radiator, and not koyo racing radiator which is 20% cooler.... now i have to go through a headache of returning it.

Skunk 2 spacer- didnt realize you would lose strut(it didnt say that in the add).. and i didnt want that... and kinetix came out with a sexy *** ssv.. now i have to return the spacer also. OOPS THE SSV SUCKS!! so i had to turn around and sell it = loss

Then I bought another nismo spoiler only to decide not to install it because i didnt think i could just spend like 100 bucks and have a body shop fix the hairline crack.. also buying the greddy emanage ultimate only to one week after install buy the UTEC like i originally wanted.. so now i got my emanage Ultimate to sell.... = loss, loss, loss...... u take at least 3000 or more in losses if your serious modder..

now i research for weeks on my350z before i buy anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I regret getting the H&R springs when I put on my 19 inch volks on, the front was nicely tucked but there was a 2 inch gap in the rear, looked lame. So I got some JIC's and now its much better with a 3 inch drop all the way around.

Do you have pics of your car dropped 3"? I have the same H&R springs and it looks fine (see below). I want to see the difference.

Your drop looks really good. Where you get your kit installed at and how much? I have that same kit in my garage sitting there.

I regret not going turbo from the beginning. I thought about going SC, but i know I will want more (my last car was aftermarket turbo - more power is addictive). none of my NA mods have been troublesome, but in general they have been dissapointing.

I also regret not doing things right the first time. i always think "I will be satisfied with this level of modding or this quality of parts"... then a few weeks later, I sell them and buy the better parts.

You'll be very happy with the JWT PopCharger. Plus you save almost $200 that could go towards a spacer.
