Dont regret: pop charger, and forged internals shift ****. It feels great, shifts are more solid.

regret: everytime I see a redline, I wish I got that instead of PPW.

regret: volk racing gt-7 gunmetal. Looks great at first sight, but not quite good in my z roadster
I kinda regret buying roadster, should have bought the coupe. The roadster is uncomfortable and noisy ride. And the coupe looks better.

Wow, I've read through 17 pages and almost answered all my questions. Everyone seem's to be against NA mods. I already have NISMO CAI, and EXHAUST. I just purchased STILLEN headers. Will I really not feel a difference or are all of you just being drastic? And what kind of numbers can I be looking at if I add an AAM Plenum Spacer, along with UO Pullies, NISMO cams and a TS Flash? Thats my list of mods that I plan to finish before summer hits.

Thanks

Blitz sonic intake. It might look good but it didn't improve any performance wise

I know, I need to stay happy with PPW. I think the problem is Im tired of the way it looks (stock) and it needs some wheels...

man i just read all 17 pages, and my Z IQ is much higher now thanks a lot guys. i just put on the popcharger and i was on the fence about a plenum spacer but you guys talked me into it. i dont plan on going FI, so the minor NA mods are just fine for me.
one question though, any preference on an AAM spacer vs a MD ISO spacer? I want to keep the strut bar so i'd be going 5/16ths.
oh and does anyone have the black nismo gt ****? does it get too hot in the sun? i want a titanium but theyre hard to find and i'm getting impatient.
frickin 3:45am now i've been reading for a while, time for bed!

I've regreted metal ***** everytime, even thought they usually look really good. No matter what metal they always get hot. I would recommend the nismo hard rubber GT ****, although Ive never tried that one personally. I've got the tomei black duracon **** and I LOVE it... about the same size and shape as the nismo aluminum ***** but made of duracon so it doesnt get hot.

Here is my now ancient plenum spacer comparison:

I know MD has since made some further improvements...don't think that AAM has.

Anyone gone with the Greddy EVO2 and had any regrets? Mainly in loudness or highway drone?

Also, anyone have any regrets going with the Tein Basics? (my Z is not a daily driver)

Evo2 is the quietest catback you can buy. It's barely louder than stock. No droning on the highway.

(Per davidv's request, I have removed my list of mods I liked, and left only those I disliked.)
Mods I've removed or don't like:
RSR Ti2000 springs = loved the performance, didn't like lowering my car
Nismo exhaust = loved the sound, but *hated* the droning on the freeway
grounding kit = Meh... whatever. Don't think they really do anything.

^^^ Quoted for truth. But I'd like to minimize heat-soak during the prolonged & frequent traffic jams and southern heat ATL is known for...
