FX1pro , looks like i'm going to cut and reweld the rails then fab up new rails that let the bucket sit and inch lower onto the slider.

 

Have you looked at the Hankook V12? Dirt cheap, super quiet, loads of grip. Not sure how crucial rain traction is to you but they aren't terrible. And at the price they sell at you can afford to try them.

I could have paid cash for a new GTR for what I have spent on engines and turbos the past 3 years.

I regret all the money i've sunk in my damn G its to addictive and i would have probably been better off smoking crack.

 

The theme I get out of this thread is if you are not happy with the performance of a stock Z, chances are it is cheaper to get a higher performance car then mod your Z.

 

My Magnaflow exhaust ... its a single and it's way to quiet.

 

cheap ebay lugnuts. had one strip with the key and was impossible to remove. ended up buying a hole saw bit and cutting around the stud of my rear touring rim.

 

Haven't regretted anything i bought for my Z yet, (do a lot of research and think twice then buy, just my advice)

 

1. I regret buying an Automatic (had motorcyles, then found the luxury of a Acura TSX, became lazy and bought an 5AT)

2. I half-heartedly regret buying the Magnetic Black. (all my previous vehicles were black 93' Honda Accord, 00' Ford Ranger, 04 Acura TSX) Would've been cool to buy the 07 + Grey or White.

3. I regret regretting

i'm surprised so many people regret getting a short shifter because it's "harder" and more "annoying" to shift? I don't find that to be the case at all...i enjoy the feel of the short shifter much more then the stock....but ironically i kind of regret getting a short shifter...because the rattling is really bad

I would not be one of the people to complain about a short shifter. My TWM shifter is super tight, does not rattle at all, and coupled with a Forged Performance SS **** is simply perfect.
