Wow, took me many hours to read every post in this thread. Very informative indeed! Thanks to this forum, I have no regrets at this point.

Ingen dual intakes(long tube for hr): Initially the left tube bumped and wore against the strut bar adjustment nut. Clearances are very tight so there was some rattle. Gains only at the top and you lose some at the bottom. Notice there is quite a bit of heat soak from the engine as well. I ended up coming up with some custom shielding to keep em from getting so hot. I think the stock plastic was superior in terms of heat resistance, fitment and best power band. Actually thinking about switch back eventually and keeping these for the N20 setup.

HFC's: Not a fan of bit of rasp, but I like the top end. I thought stock cat's with Bassani true duals sounded amazing.

Same, I learn it with my first sports car 350z.

Got 19" TE37 Time Attack +22, 9.5 and 10.5. Well, these are excellent rims and light as well. But I should have gotten 18" instead.

Advantages would be lighter, reducing unsprung weight, faster acce, more tyre choices, cheaper tyre, cheaper rims

Same reason I got a Nismo exhaust. I wanted to keep the stock note.

I regret installing the entire exhaust system at the same time....nismo headers, fast intentions resonated test pipes and fast intentions dominator....

I was literally going deaf after 4 months so i uninstalled the test pipes and damn what a difference lol...

I regret the Daytona Spoiler from Motorsports, I like the style but the mold was crap and no matter how much I have tried to sand here, adjust there to make it fit the hatch, it has a gap somewhere depending on how tight you attach it to the trunk.
I have had it off three times to mess around with it and if there were not holes in the trunk or a spoiler that I liked to cover the holes, the thing would be in the trash.

This thread literally changed my life...well not so much my life but my plans for the Z. I seriously want to go F/I but don't have the cash right now. So i was gonna do some bolt ons for a little extra power. But now I think I'm gonna focus on brakes and suspension instead. This way the car is ready for F/I when the time comes.

Fiber glass body kits FTL.. If you have to deal with random driveways and speed bumbs then look for more durable options..

Radiator and fan shrouds. Some times when it is not broke don't fix it. Taken longer with more upsets than any mod and now I have overheating issues. lmao

The only thing I regret about the Seibon VT hood is who I bought it from. It was damaged from shipping.

I literally read every page, what a great thread. I don't have a lot of mods, but I do regret (well, sometimes) getting another vehicle (not referring to the Z, of course) that I like but don't need, instead of buying mods for the Z that I might regret and post on this thread later on .
