Love this thread. Possibly the most informative thread on this site!

Regrets:
1. Selling my stock rims with the TPMS and not tranfering them to my new rims.
2. Tanabe GF210 springs. Should have gone straight to coilovers.

Partial Regrets:
1. TE37 18in rims with 35 profile tire. 45 profile would have been equal to stock circumference, but looks too big for aftermarket rims. 35 profile on an 18in has a smaller circumference than than stock rims so the wheel well isn't fully filled. I would have liked to have gone with 19in/35 profile which would have been the same size as stock rims.

Reasons why I don't regret it:
A. The car doesn't look that bad once it's dropped.

More regrets to come with future mods?

Regret: Hawk HPS pads
Why? It takes forever to stop my coupe now. I've had a close call when some idiot pulled out in front of me the other day.
Replacement? I'm going back to stock pads even if they cause excessive dusting.

regrets

Strictly going for N/A in first place. Thank god I took every part out thinking I would sell my Z but I gave up on that. I'm keeping it. I wish I never spent money on getting anything but going straight for turbo. Also I should have never bought springs, instead I should have spent money and bought stance coilovers.. GRR..

Also I should have spent money on full suspension kits rather than freaking N/A parts.. suspension is fun to drive and power gets u freaking ticket!!..

not regretting..

Rota P45. I had it for couple of weeks for now but I don't know why people hate this rim so damn much. I live in jersey and I run 275/35/18 tires and **** I go through pot hole all day long and I can drive my car like I stole it if I wanted to, not worrying about damaging my wheels..

25mm spacers.. Jesus christ, my rear wheel look so sexy!!!!!!!!!!

so bottom line, I should have gone suspension first rather than having power. done.

turbo xs test pipes. they broke at the mounting to the car (b.c of heat and vibration) had them for about a year. also pulstar plugs they had no gains and burned themselves in less then 10,000 miles-causing misfires.

Talking Turbo

No problems with my additions, however too everyone looking for FI. I got a turbonetics single..ITS AWESOME! Only $5200 with shipping. I didnt personally do the install but apparently it went smoothly and only took about 10 hours. Install was just under 1300 bucks total, 900 for the turbo and another 400 for gauges and their install. In the end it was definitely worth waiting a few months so i could save enough money for it and the install.

Not sure what I regret yet. I've installed several bolt-ons...exhaust, headers, cai, stage 2 flywheel, pulleys, stage 2 clutch, wheels, camber kit, springs. As of right now everything is good except for the fact that it cuts out when I get on it taking off in first. May need to get something done to computer. Anyone with an idea? If I can figure that out, then no regrets.

I think I regret the Injen Ti Exhaust + Xpipe + TP. The drone is so terrible at 2k rpm.

35% tint on a DBZ with frost interior. It may look fine with a black interior but it barely looks like I tinted the windows because of the light interior

Other than that, I'm happy with my other mods:

Nismo exhaust
Pop Charger
Stillen Spoiler
Nismo V2 front bumper
S2K antenna
Zenclosure
07 hood

1. Fujita intakes - eh.. got em used for cheap, make the car growl more, no noticeable powergains... n/a on that one, but can't feel a decrease per say so the growl is nice addition.
2. Berks HFC - Love it. More high end power, love the additional noise and deeper tone, I actually like the hiss coming from the flex joints
3. JIC Y pipe - It hasn't broken, so it's good haha.
4. Apexi WS2 Mid pipe / muffler - shitty, looks worse than my nismo muffler, in the process of changing now.
5. S2K antenna - funny how such a small thing makes a large difference looks-wise. Identical reception vs stock, cheapest and best bang for your buck imo for that sexier look.
6. 15% ceramic tint - Love it. Annoying teenagers cannot see me and challenge me to race(s). The popo can't be hatin through the rear view. Love the privacy, the reduced glare during day driving, and it's definitely cooler. NOTE- parking is a ***** if you don't roll down your windows however.

Ultimately, I am quite satisfied with the mods thus far. Don't really know what to do after true dual and injen cai cause i don't want to FI and nothing else really seems 'worth it'... probably suspension / tires.
