Ouch. Removing that would be very high on my things to do list.

I regret My Z. Bought it for looks and speed but didnt think of other things as space upkeep etc. I recently bought a house and trips with the gf to Lowes is a weekly thing. So we get to drive her car for storage. Shouldv bought a Crew cab Silverado and a bike.

I would have to say I did regret installing my TurboXS Test pipes because they made my car sound very raspy. Having a 3in single HKS exhaust did not help me out too much, it only made the rasp louder. After going to Formula Drift and seeing all the Z's and G's sound that way, I learned to respect it and after a while I got used to it. I can't complain too much though, because I got them for $100 shipped brand new from someone on here.

I regret not being more careful taking my rear wiper off.
I regret trying to fit a bike rack on the rear.

Basically trying to say the paint on an '03 Z scratches WAY to easy haha.

So does your Z. If you want to lug a bike around get a Honda Fit not a Z.

Great thread. Read from start to finish.

I got the mod bug for this car even before I bought the Z, so it's hard not to go bolt-on crazy. But reading this makes me want to go wheels/suspension, maybe some cosmetics, and stop there - although that is easier said than done.

*no regrets on the pop charger though. Good sound mod IMO.

I completely regret buying the Touring with the built in Navi. Complete crap, tells me to take every side street available even if I'm on the Interstate and I'm still 20 miles away from my destination.

$1300.00 down the drain.

Switch to an aluminum "finisher" as I did. Check zeetoyz.com.

Miles. I wish I hadn't put so many on . . .

My best mod was the Pilot Sport PS2's - cornered like I was on rails and slid progressively and quietly at the limit.
The Goodyear GS-D3's were great too, but NLA in my size.
I think the MREV is good.

Biggest dissappointment, taking the PS2's off to save $110 per tire. Now I corner like I'm in a Dodge K-car howling around a fast bend.

Worst mod - the 10 different brake pad/disc combinations before I ended up back with OE pads and EBC ultimax rotors. I possess, but have not yet installed the EBC Bluestuff pads which might be better, or they might be worse. My complaints ranged from vibration to dead pedal until brakes were smoking hot to great brakes which faded quickly, etc. Ultimately each set of disks was removed due to vibration.

What was interesting was that after pulling each set of rotors off I got them mic'd. The OE front rotors stayed the truest regardless of pads used.

I actually still have P-Mu pads and DBA rotors on the back, but not for much longer.

I regret the Nismo Cams, almost not worth the money very non-aggressive. Also, the Tein Basics, I should've went with the Stance coils instead!
