I got a carbon roof on my Z too. I love the way it looks on the car. Was a pain in the a$$ to put on though. What don't you like about yours?

i love my short throw shifter that came with the nismo... havent had any trouble shifting. people need to learn how to drive.

[QUOTE=bb17;9767546]Indeed! I have the clear bra and although it has saved from stone chip several times it has now turned black in spots which do not come off...it looks like hood will need to be power sanded to remove and repaint...need to find someone in the Carlisle , pa. to do it.

I regret not putting in a flywheel and new clutch when I first bought tge car. 2 weeks into owning it CSC clutch slave died and I pulled the transmission replacing the defective hydraulics. 1.5 years later I can feel my pedal getting lighter and clutch engagement much softer.

So its on to a lighter flywheel, southbend clutch, and heavy duty CSC.

what flywheel do you plan to go with and why did you choose southbend clutch. Do you play tf2 anymore ...

SPL midlink on a DD/street car. Expensive and noisy, but a great product had my car been meant for track. The extra adjustability was overkill for my needs.

Havnt had the patience in a year or so for games, but I couldn't stop playing the engineer since I am one.

I'm likely going with act 17lbs flywheel, don't care about the low rpm chatter and can't justify spending $125 more for the southbend @ 23 lbs.

Southbend for the clutch bc I had a stage 1 in my 00 celica for 9 years and 160k miles with me slipping and beating on it daily to keep the car in it's narrow power band (6-7.5k rpms). I could not believe it lasted so long and was still grabbing hard when i sold the car.

I regret ever getting my Nismo V2 bumper. Not because of the bumper itself... but because of the horrible paint experiences. This tri-coat is a nightmare. First it was too yellow. Now (yes, repainted again) it's too white. Granted this one is close, I still notice the difference. It is a MUCH better paint job overall in comparison to the first attempt though (different painter this time).

I might also say I regret the Bassani exhaust. I love the tone over most other exhausts, however, the Bassani started to rust within 2 years or so. I don't drive it much anymore so it doesn't seem to be getting much worse but I didn't expect it to happen that quickly.

Doing mods because RACE CAR and then realize you still have to DAILY DRIVE. Regret doing mods related to a race car and then bisssh when it does not drive like a DD. Go big or go home. Get 2 350z and one is RACE CAR and one is DD. If you are broke than stick to DD and do basic mods like Audio, Coils, Exhaust, OEM BUSHINGS, Camber kit. Nice wax job, 2006 headlights and tail, some rims and call it a day.

You start boosting, swapping, or building than say GOODBYE to your WALLET and your DD.
