Default please help me out here guys.. for the LAst time !!

I was wondering if there was a way to trade in your car for additional cost(i heard like 1000 dollars before 1000 miles).
I really want a white Z atm..and I have a SB..was wondering if this was possible and if its worth it.

Or..if later I decide to paint my car ppk how much around am I looking at and is this worth it also? thank you~

Paint your car PPK from SB??? do you know what is involved in that??

Ive never heard of the $1000 b4 1000 miles..My dad has been in car sales (Chevrolet) for years and he hasnt..of course it might be a local sale gimmick. Better check on that a little further. Good luck.

Never heard of that either. If you have titled your car, then it's officially used, so you take the "used car depreciation" right off the bat. If you can swing it, and having a PPW car is worth 1K though, I say go for it. The only way to know for sure is to go in and ask. Good Luck!

Changing the color of your car from black to PPW correctly will cost you nothing short of $4K. To have engine pulled and all glass removed along with interior and so on, expect to be without your car for weeks just for a color change. You can do it on the cheap by just spraying the outside but you know that's not a good idea plus it will devalue your car. If you must have white, then trade it in but I can't see why you would want to. It's not like you got a bad color to begin with.

Why didn't you just buy an SB in the first place? Sounds like you were impatient and rushed into buying a Z, very common disease around here.

yup. go in and find out. that's all you can do.

even if you decide to go all out on the best paintjob possible, it will still hurt the resale because it won't be the original color dictated by the VIN.

Painting is the only option. Theres no "cooling off period" in california that allows you to take back your trade in or replace the car beacuse you dont like it or cant afford it.

I almost did what you did. I was so close to buying a SB cuz they were available on the lot that day. Luckily i waited a few weeks and drove 200 miles to get my PPW

well, no. The other option is trading in for a loss. As many have said, its probably cheaper in the long run than painting.

right, you can trade in for a loss, but i dont see if its really worth it for a paint job. If your gonna spend that kind of money on a paint job, i would get a nice custom one.

How long have you had your Z? You already have issues with your GF's ex, bodykits, shady dealers, etc... at such a short amount of time.

Also, how old are you again?

I know someone who was quoted $8000 to paint his '04 Roadster SB to Brickyard, and that does not involve the engine bay as the BY engine bay is already black. Waay to much money IMHO. In his case though, he will have the only BY Roadster around as they discontinued BY in '04 and did not make the Roadster in '03.
