Thank God for my little Scion. I put gas in Z maaaybe once in 1.5 months. Scion "eats" about 20 gal. a month (regular) for daily driving.
12 gal/month premium for Z = ~$30
20 gal/month regular for tC = ~$45
Total: ~$75/month

I'll reemphasize this as I do in every gas thread.
Americans get gas for DAMN CHEAP compared to most other countries.
High gas prices really only affect the poor, who have to spend a large PERCENTAGE of their income on gas.
Most of us on the forums fall into the non-poor American class, which means you have no right to complain.

well i consider myself poor, and i just spent 45.16 to fill up at a local wawa a couple of minutes ago. for the most part i take into account how much gas will set me back each pay period and plan it in.

$2 something for a gallon of gas in the U.S. is rediculous. IMO, not concerned what the rest of the world pays. We are the U.S.A., a super power, and $2 something a gallon is too dang expensive for anyones pocket book except the wealthy.

The way gas is going it is stealing our wallets with the goverments permission
up to WHEN ?????? When we have to sell our nice cars, when we cannot have a spin in the freeways to release our stress ??? When we have to buy cheaper cars so gas steals less from our wallets ????? When our way of living has to be changed to a lower one in order to spend more on gas ???

Right now Unleaded $ 2.90 regular $ 2.76
The thing is that distances here are very short, but in USA they are different,
Did you know that gas in Venezuela is $ 0.60 por unleaded per gallon ???

$2.669/gal for 92 Octane in Seattle = $46.20 for 17.310gal.
On a side note, I was able to go 394miles on that tank, so it didn't make me feel too bad. Could be worse.
I remember when I used to spend $20 to fill up my Integra with premium and I was so pissed because my Stang used regular for $15. lol

Sad thing is guys, i dont think we are going to see gas prices ever going down drastically anymore, hell id love for 93 octane around where i live just to hold steady at $2 per gallon... The way oil consumption has skyrocketed in the past decade and with China expanding, the world is on pace to run out of oil in the not too distant future.

Gas prices are sad. My GF is fixin' to trade in her Land Rover because she can't stand paying $80.00 a week in fuel.
