I wouldnt bet on the z lowering your insurance from a jetta. I could be wrong but i think have two doors and seats versus 4 raises insurance usually. Same for having two more cylinders. I know that my insurance was higher than if i were driving an rsx-s or wrx but actually lower than a mustang gt. Good luck on getting the z, just be very careful with it if the weather isnt nice. Snap oversteer is enough to humble just about anyone especially coming from a front wheel drive car with considerably less power.

Also, if your dad's a golfer the z might score some points. I heard a rumor that we can fit two golf bags in the hatch....

Good. He loves golf! Stinks at it but hey, if you can fit 2 golf bags in the trunk makes it somewhat practical!

well you're in luck. Hopefully you'll still get the nice little sticker with instructions how to cram them in

In Maryland State Farm rates the Z in the highest cost category. Its in the same category as the hummer, BMW, Lexus Jags, There for its one of the highest cost of insurance cars around. no really its rated in the same bracket so it REALLY IS the highest cost insruance car out there. once again this is for State Farm.

I pay something like 190 a month. zero points zero tickets. and that is WITH a discount for a multi policy line.

AGE 22.

Emphasize the VDC, etc which are great safety devices. Plus the Zzz does real well in safety crash tests. Look for one with side airbags.

hmmm... 18 years old... paying for the car yourself .... what the hell do you need permission for?? Grow a set, man!

By the way, $22K for an '03 with that many miles is outrageous. You can do better.

I can afford it but with a loan and my parents would be signing for it. Plus garage space. (I am going to be a senior in high school, an old senior!)

What price range would you expect for an '03 performance? and @ how many miles. My number was taken from kbb.com Any other numbers are appreciated.
