If there was one thing I could do again after getting the Z is to get the hood protection, as well as a headlight one if offered. I do mostly highway driving and I have tons of small chips everywhere. My front lower bumper is even worse!

I see you are in So Cal, where did you get it done? Was it for bumper, hood, lights?

I have a few small chips in the hood that I've touched up w/ touch up paint, but nothing major so far {koncking on wood}......

Found the best strategy for not getting chips in the paint is to just drive faster than everyone else so no one is in front of me!

Star Shield Armor did the paint protection film on my Z, and several other cars. They're a factory supplier to OEs like Lexus and Lotus, and they're located in Irwindale, CA.

Most everyone uses the same material. It's the pattern/coverage and installation that stands one company apart from another.
