Default SES Help

I did the search.... so dont judge me..... my car is completely stock, full tank of gas and the Service Engine Soon light came on???? I am confused as h3ll.... hmmm look into the manual.... say something about emission and gas tank.... so anybody know how to turn the dammm thing off it just bug me ............. thanks a lot guyssssssssssss and gals

You can get an SES light if your gas cap is not tight. Take the car to an Auto Zone. They will read the code for free. If the car is under warrenty, take it to the dealer.

thank .....I did it the old fashion way by disconnecting the battery terminal and it went away for now....hope it will not pop up again later.....
