They are pretty stupid... They complain saying the Z's interior is cheap, and its way to heavy.. but then go and say the GTO is the perfect car? Excuse me, but cheap american interior and 3800-4000lbs? Uhm... ok. Those maxima owners need to be slapped.

Lol.. good stuff. Means a lot coming from a forum where "weight reduction" mostly consists of removing the groceries and kid's car seats.

"And the Maxima solves all the Z's shortcomings!"

That was my favorite quote. You guys better all sell your cars and get 95 Maximas so you can stop having to deal with the shortcomings. Some of those guys were even driving the 89-94 model Maximas. I hope Nissan figues out the Maxima is much better than the Z and drop the Z's price and raise the Maxima's price.

Well, if you ask me, If you drive Nissan, you shouldn't slam Nissan.
The Maxima is a nice vehicle, if you like 4 door family oriented vehicles. I think it looks nice and performs pretty good. It's a sedan, not a sports car, of course the interior is going to be a little more on the classier side. Take a ride in the Lotus Elise if you think the Z's interior is bad.
The Maxima is not as fast and it doesn't handle as well as the Z. To each his own. If you want to start slamming, start on the freaking Neon SRTs'.

wut about the throttle response? i used to own a 99 Acura TL and the throttle response on that car was great, i cant imagine that the Z would be any worse but in fact much better considering the engine size, HP, torque, and comparable weight vs the TL

i think the maxima dude is just pissed that he doesnt own a Z, u can jus feel the envy in his text =P

i might add that all sports performance car that ive ever driven were bumpy and noisy, rx7, nsx, supras, and even the ol 300zx were no exceptions

of course compared to a luxury type sedan, any sports car is gonna rattle ur cage a bit... the part where even the G35 owners were dissin on the Z was gettin on my nerves too

I used to be an active member of that forum. I owned a 96 maxima that I had modded. 5-speed, body kit, suspension... etc. I had the same complaints w/ the maxima that I do with the Z. It's nissan build quality... creaks and rattles galore. The Z however looks MUCH better than the maxima and is much faster/handles better.

Well, it is glaringly apparent that the Maxima board is full of 16 year olds who are driving their parents hand me down Maximas and think that 4-door 4-seaters are sports cars because they have 250hp.

That was a waste of my time to read, some of the points on there were hilarious. The one guy was saying the z is all heavy and compared it to the mclaren F1. yea thats a real valid comparison! Another guy said the z looked horrible without mods "like wheels" Ha so with JUST wheels now the Z looks amazing? Give me a break

They're just pissed because the Z has a huge aftermarket and the Maxima doesn't...it's ok.

I should know, I used to own a maxima.

There just mad because there old lady wont let them buy a 350z or they can't afford one, so they have to justify driving a old 4 door maxima by saying how crappy the Z is... If you noticed most of the guys who were really rippin on the Z were driving old 88-95 maxima's... What do those cost now a days? $2k-4k ?
