I would say the Z is merely a good all around car. Good price, good looks, good performance, pretty good quality. It's a well rounded vehicle. However it has it's flaws. Nissan skimped a bit with certain things in regard to build quality, especially on the interior. I like the look of the interior quite a bit. However the quality and fit of the materials is not up to the usual Nissan standard. A Maxima has much better interior quality and fit. Nissan skimped a bit on the Z to help keep cost down. All in all the Z is a good, fun car to drive.....plus even though the tranny has a bit to be desired in some circumstances (the fact that many people have had to have it replaced) the VQ35 engine is bulletproof.

My Z has looks, and it has the appeal to people..they look at it alot, but anything else is just wrong, this car has more issues then Nissan wants to admit.
This car is a lemon! I like it, but its not the all >* for me.
I would like to wait to see if a 2007 model is better or changed in anyway, but I mean this car is slow... :\ It does handle well, but I just dont feel the tourqe everyone says it has...

I get the most compliments regarding how comfortable the seats in my car are. I personally like the interior, it's certainly much better then the EVO, and WRX. The door panels and dash material is probably the weakest point. Seats are good, as well the tilting instrument cluster, steering wheel and the tripple gauges.

Z interior sucks. The Carrera S 997 is the best car you can buy. Looks, performance, build quality, luxury... You name it. Also, you forgot to put M3 on their, which is a 1000x better buy than the Z. For $60,000 you get world class performance and build quality. Thank you, drive through.

I actually like the Zs interior to Corvette or any other non-luxury brands. I dont think its fair to compare Z's interior to luxury brands.

Everyone might be bashing this thread and it's comparisons being a little off, but i like the intent of topic starter. It's to see threads where someone is talking about how much they love thier car instead of complaining about problems with it. Forums always seem to give a negative view on things because you rarely see posts stating about how much someone likes a car or how well it's running. If we all consulted a forum for car "X" before purchasing, i dont think anyone would buy anything. my 0.02
