for casaul driving, which is almost all the time, i shift before 3k. what octane of gas are you using... 91 or better should be used.

I'm averaging 22mpg. Only goes below 20 when I'm tracking the car.

On long hauls, I'm getting 28mpg, cruising at 79mph

Make sure you have good fuel.

Never seen below 22 mpg. I can't see how there is anyway the dealer is going to do anything. You are reseting your mpg gauge when you fill up right so it starts over with fresh data for each tank.

i get about 19mpg on average...i live about 4 miles from where I work...so I do do a lot of short distant driving....everytime you crank your engine up, your car sux up more gas...but if you get into your car...and get on the freeway and just cruise for about 300 miles..you should get pretty badass gas mileage

I get 18-19 but I always take off fast from lights and stop signs. I got real close to 30 when taking a road trip recently, I was pretty impressed.

I get between 19-21 but I commute with the car so I end up driving in bumper to bumper traffic everyday along with some open road driving. I drive a bit agressively at times and really defensively at other times. Seems to balance.

I average about 24 or 25 but shift at like 22-2500 and you'll save a lot of gas. Running it up that high on every shift can affect it I'm sure.

ugh... maybe its wrong... but the gauge says im about 3/8 down and i did about 90 miles and on the pod it says 16.5 and around 15 mph average (I dont know where that # came from).. In the beginning i was using my first tank of gas filled up by the dealer(they probably gave me regular), now i put in 93octane after i used 14 gallons of the orginal.
At this rate im going to be very broke...

I have gotten about 15 before on my first 1/4 of a tank but I had been driving the car pretty hard constantly. I can tone it down and get around 22 but i found a happy comprimise way of driving that gets me about 18.

According to the guage... and converted to imperial mpg.

45mph w/ cruise on = 45 mpg
65mph w/ cruise on = 37 mpg
75mph w/ cruise on = 28 mpg
City driving = 20 mpg... sometimes down to 17 mpg.
Race track = 10 mpg

I am gettine 12/27, in other words 12 mpg city & 27 mpg highway. I calculate the old fashioned way, I fill up my tank, then reset the odometer, and when I fill up the next time, I check to see how many mpg I got. I shift between 4-5k. Running octane 93.

Damn this n00b is on his first tank of gas and he is complaining and already wants to take it in. Man I just can't believe some owners. Give it a couple tanks, make sure you reset the gauge when you fill up, and then report back your MPG and Average MPH.
