Default My New Z

Well I traded in the truck and purchased a car that I have been wanting for a while. I have had it for about 10 days and so far I love it. I purchased as is with mods already done. I am sure I will do more in the future but for now these will do.

Check out my pics. Any comments/criticisms are welcome. Any suggestions very welcome. I would like to know what style of wheel I have. They are Enkei, but I don't know the style/model. Anyone recognize these. Heck I don't even know the rim widths either. Guess I'll need to remove a front and a rear wheel to verify.

Drives and runs very nice. Nice growl when I open it up too. I may change the intake to a JWT Popcharger though.

Thanks in advance for any info. I really enjoy this forum and have learned alot just in lurking the past couple of weeks.

P.S. How do ya like my ghetto license plate photoshop....a towel.

Awesome!

Why do people block out their license plates?

Because they think thieves will look up their plate and come to their house and steal their car. Never seen any facts to back up doing it, and if a thief wants your car bad enough he doesn't need your license plate.

Nice car!

"Why do people block out their license plates?"

So dealerships can't void your warranty based on the internet.

Dealer ship just cant void your warranty...

When you bring the car to the dealer, if they see something that they feel is a direct cause of the malfunction you are trying to get warrantied then the warranty is void on that specific part... not on the car...

Is that a jdm nismo wing or a replica? Only recommendation I have is for you to get clear corners for the front.

Why dont you guys have dealership in DC area? There is so much business here for you guys. It would be nice to have someone like Performance Nissan in DC area.

Thanks for the comments. I was able to get an invoice for the wheels from the shop that also performed all the mods. I found out that the wheels are Enkei Phalenx (and they are not cheap). I needed this invoice to add a provision on my insurance for the wheels just in case they go missing. Still not sure about rim widths though.

I am not sure if the wing is Nismo or replica. It seems to be of good quality though. Paint matches well too.

I am debating whether or not to keep the Apexi SAFC2. I wonder about warranty claims with this piggybacked onto the ECU though. I did purchase a 5yr/100k mi. warranty. I am sure this mod is probably a good one, but could I live without it???

I will probably purchase the JWT PCharger as well as the OEM Z Tube from Performance Nissan website. Less than $200 for both. I am not a big fan of the polished metal intake tubing it has now, that metal conducts alot of heat. I think it looks good though, but I think the plastic will insulate a little better from the heat.

As far as concealing license plate: I was unsure about that too. I just see it done alot so I figured what the heck.
