If your Pathfinder is any thing like my 2003, the Z will be more comfortable, even over potholes.

I would say the clear bra is a requirement for a daily driver and get it as soon as you possibly can. Z paint chips easy and the low flat front is a huge target.
I had a rock roll across the lower part of my hood (damn the dirt truck, damn them straight to heck) and it had no affect. How obvious the clear bra is depends on what color you have. My white car only shows at the lines and even then, only when you're close. If you look at my car here in the first pic http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/pict...09/default.asp you cant even see it. But it's not invisible. The thing I figure is, neither are the rock chips and they don't match the paint.

I just put 200 miles on my car today, and I would do it again tomorrow if I had some place to go. I figure the last thing I want, is to be laying on my deathbed thinking "Why on earth did I spend all those hours in a boring car?"

Life's to short!

I got my clear bra installed at my house for under $500, that included the bumper, part of the hood, tiny corners right behind the headlights and the rear view mirrors.

spcemn spiff, if you like those, check out my new ones from this weekend http://www.hypersprite.com/z . I did a photo shoot in San Francisco that went well even with the fog.

I have a 2004 Honda Civic EX for my daily driver, but for some reason the Z gets used more than it should...hmmm...how does that happen?

I have a 2003 Z with 27K miles on it. It was my daily driver until i got stranded in a 1/2" of snow one time. I then bought an 87 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 for $2000 as my beater. I drive it in the winter and when its raining but in the last few months, the Jeep has turned into my daily driver and my Z has become my weekend whip.

A few people mentioned they dont drive the Z in the snow. This is going to be my only mode of transport and we have some pretty bad winters. Is it impossible to drive in the winter?

Get the craziest winter tires you can fit !!!

Maybe Nokian makes some big enough. Get studs if you can in your state.

I got caught in this much snow and I couldn't get the car to go forward one inch with the stock re040. Had to hitch a ride home that day...

You will have to take VDC/TCS off all the time.

With that kind of mileage, your Z is going to be toast in 4 years

I've driven high hp rwd cars in winter my whole life. The key is just being smart and VERY cautious. I just sold my cammed WS6 (M6, made 385 rwhp). I drove that all last winter.

I plan on purchasing a Z here in the next day or so. It will be my daily driver, so it certainly will see snow. I'm not too worried about it...

Nice weather, weekend or track duty only. I got the Z on 4/12/03, have only 9K miles on the critter and bought the Z for a change of pace from my SUV and my daily driver, a 1995 Chev Impala SS.

I did the daily driver thing with the Z for a week while the SUV was down with front suspension issues and SS was getting some TLC from the dealer but stop and go driving combined with a 6MT wasn't all that pleasant.

I'm fortunate to be able to afford more than one vehicle and when buying the Z I was looking for a sports car to drive once in a while, not every day.

2003 Performance with PE TT kit installed - daily driver 45 miles each way - hate it when I have to drive my wife's car, to take it for a oil change.

BTW, I have never heard any of the women at work tell another guy "love your car" or "that car is yours?". I get only postive attention, nice, although I can't follow thru as I am married.

And a good thing to that you're maried !

"Love your car" does not mean "I want to have sex with you" !

Yes, very good point. However, many times it is difficult to begin a conversation/have an icebreaker when you want to meet a person that you are interested in. Usually people meet other people when they have something in common, such as club membership, church attendence, they work at the same place, etc. Of course, love your car/ or conversations about a car do not mean "I want to have sex with you" and I do not get why you have such a gutter mind. My meaning was that the car can serve as a great "attention getter" if a person was interested in meeting new people and starting relationships. I am married, am not interested in, nor am I fishing for, a new relationship. If I was, however, the Z would certainly serve as a great ice breaker.
