My Z will handle a full load of groceries, trips to Home Depot and two golf bags and duffels for the weekend trips. But 90% of the driving I do during the week is to/from work and my "daily driving". Why would I do it in a beater? Just so when I go out on the weekends there are a few less miles? So in 4 or 5 years when I trade it in its a low mileage gem for some other yoohoo to enjoy?

I couldnt leave the Z at home 5 days a week just to drive a crapbox Camry or Sentra, no thanks. Life is too short to drive beaters.

You know, when this Z bites it, I'll just buy another one. BFD.

I find myself taking an average of two days per week in my pathfinder just to justify it sitting in my driveway. The Z was supposed to be my garage queen/ weekend fun car... but, its just too damn fun to not drive.

That is simply brilliant my friend, simply brilliant. Life is way too short to drive beaters. I think that's why I see so many mid life crisis encompassed middle aged men driving sports cars, and driving them slowly. They finally can afford the car, but eve though they are driving it, it seems the enjoyment isn't there.

This isn't a 70k car, so go out and enjoy it!

I live in Palm Harbor, Pinellas County, and travel across the Bay to downtown Tampa each day for work. Twice a week I go to USF at night. You taking day or night classes?

Sorry guys to disagree, I like having my Z garaged and only driven when I want to drive it. I put the car-abortion miles to work on my truck.

I understand how some wouldn't want to drive the car much, espically if this was the first high performance sex machine they have owned. I remember when I had my 96 supra tt I constantly worried about driving it. I can tell you it's much more fun to say F*** it and go out there and enjoy it.

If you want to keep the Z forever, hey good for you, it's a kick **** car. I just think with a NEW Z around the corner and the GTR (oh dear the GTR) you guys may think twice about holding on to the Z33 for ever..

The problem with the Z, I have realized is that is just way too good. Even a nice daily driver just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Everything abotu the car is so brilliant and just commands to be used daily. For instance I no longer like the way I sit in just about any car compared to the Z. The rooflines are too high on other cars, I don't feel cocooned in the cockpit like I do in the Z. Everything is right where I need it, my elblow fits perfectly on the panel. The shifter placed just so.. I get in other cars and they no longer feel right to me. I love the tight feel of the interior and of course the drive is brilliant as well.

After the Z i vowed never again to drive a POS unless I had to, because I forgot just how excellent it was to drive a proper sports car.

Once again THANK YOU Nissan for prodiving me this opportunity. I drive 3-5k miles a month and never thought I'd have the chance to drive something like the Z daily.

The Z is the answer. Great fuel economy, cheap maintenance, brilliant performance, sexy looks.. It's just everything I need, and nothing I don't.

Simply nothing else on the market like it for the price.

Long live the Z. It envokes memories of anyone who has ever owned any Z car, and they are all smiles when they talk about their Zeds. It's real easy to see why. I know when I'm an old geezer and hopefully I see some kid in the new Z car, I'll tell him how great my Z was as well

I hear ya. When you take your right hand off of the steering wheel, it lands on the shifter. The driving position is absolute perfection.
