Default Nissan Employee Discount on the 350Z

Hey everyone - I work for a company that Nissan offers the affliation deal where you get cars at a discounted rate. Does anyone know if this is available on the Z yet and if it isn't will it ever be? Thanks

If you are speaking about the VPP program the answer is no
The Murano and Z are not included in the program. Sucks to be popular...but ya gotta pay to play. I got mine and it worth every penny!

I was told by Nissan that it won't be on the VPP program until March or April of '03.
I bought mine at MSRP through the VPP program, but also got my wife a 2.5SL Altima at the same time. On that car we got a smokin' deal on the VPP.

nope, just one more person who found the answer to be no. they told me april maybe... while a dealer said the exterra took over a year to go up for VPP.

on the other hand, G35 and coupe are available. too bad it didnt feel like a sports car when I drove it, or I might have enjoyed the discount.

Has anybody been told that Nissan Motor Credit will not make a loan on the 350Z?

If you're a Nissan employee, you can buy or lease a 350Z through the VPP or employee lease program.

The latter is the 2 or 3 year/60,000 mile lease with insurance and service (including tires & brakes) built into the price.

NMAC did the lease on my Z. Never heard that they would not finance/lease a Z!

AG350Z:
The VPP program varies as to what relationship you have with Nissan. Direct employees get a bigger discount. I work for a Nissan vendor, and my deal was 4.5% below net invoice (less holdback)plus 2% delivery and handling charge,

We got a Altima 2.5SL that stickered at 23,799 for 21,500 out the door on a 39 month lease.
Invoice was about 22,100, so I think it was a pretty good deal.

When I recived my Z in early November the Dealer stated NMC would not finance the Z. I never looked into because I was going with my Credit Union. I wondered if the Dealer was telling the truth or not. It just seemed an odd statement for NMC to not finance a Z.
