Default weird sound from engine

well I have just encountered a problem. After 1 or 2 stalls in my 05 Z I seem to hear this crackling sound when the engine is off. I would like to know if this happens to anyone else or if I should get this checked. I tried to find out where exactly this sound was coming from but was unsuccessful.
