anyone ever bought a brand new M3? the computer limits how high you can rev for the first 1500 miles....it slowly lets you rev higher and higher as you collect miles...and at around 1500miles, you have to take it back to the dealership so they can get the limiter off....

One question for you guys:
When buying a Z, and it has ~ 20 miles on it..you *know* someone took it for a test drive. Also, Nissan dealers don't give a ****, and anyone who test drives the Z will floor the hell out of it on the test drive.
So if i want to buy one...there's no way of telling if it has been abused and i'm SOL unless i just buy a freshly delivered one right?
Man...that's why i like subaru around my area..they *will not* let you pass 4K RPM...i kinda wish others were like that too...or, get a Demo car and let ppl test drive it, not a car that someone will later end up buying.
So any tips?
I'm looking into one soon, dunno if i'll wait for the '06...
Thanks
