What do you pay for insurance? Just checking to see if State Farm is grabbing me by the ***** again with $480 a month at age 20 with no tickets on record.

whoa, I need to go back to college and finish my paint and body degree I started before I switched majors. Get some discounts again.

Edit: what insurance company do you use? State Farm has given my high quotes on all of my vehicles from what I'v been told.

Really depends where you are insured. I got a mis-quote for a rural city near me (I live in Portland) and the difference was huge. I pay 195/month. The mis-quote was for 125/month, all others things being equal. I have one ticket.

I made my dad read this, he says the reason my insurance is so high is that when he setup mine, my brothers, and hise and my moms that he put 4x the legal limit of coverage because that $20,000 won't cover costs of cars and injuries these days, not that he expects us to get into a bad accident but because **** happens like when I was hit headon. Plus my insurance has medical thats helping pay my medical bills from my accident. I guess the price is right but my insurance rates make ppl freak out. I'v not been able to work in 3 months from my accident but i still have to pay insurance on a totalled car too, I'm young and ignorant at these things but whats up with having to pay insurance on a car you no longer have?

I didn't know you had to??? That's odd, but perhaps I just don't know enough about it.
