350z crashes at a reported 100 MPH
This 350z was reported travelling at speeds of 100 MPH+. Apparently it might have been racing a BMW who was driving just as fast.
The driver lost control, struck the concrete center divide wall, slid across three lanes of traffic where it struck a guardrail, and sheared it. It went straight through the guardrail. The passenger side the broadsided a tree. The car then caught fire. The first responding officers used fire extingushers to keep the fire away from the driver. People driving by stopped and gave officers their fire extingushiers to help put the fire out unti the fire department arrived.
The driver, a 20 year old male, ended up passing away due to his injuries.

RIP......
I'm glad I upgraded my wheels and most importantly tires. Those stockers seriously suck and he probably wasn't going in a straight line either in which case those tires are even worse. And if it was raining they suck even more... if thats possible.
I had my scare the first day I got the car. Everything I do now is only on open roads that are clear of curves and only in dry weather. FI is scary enough on dry roads as it is......I am too afraid to boost in rain......
Everyone be safe! I am definitely not saying tires were the cause here but it does make me feel safer (especially in rain) that I did upgrade...I felt like I had no control with the others.

Well you do make your own bed but when that bed involves putting innocent bystanders at risk that had no say in your street racing that is sad! Stop street racing but if you must do it on OPEN CLEAN roads! And most important know when to back off the gas!
At least you'll live to race another day! RIP Z!
Peace!

My "you make your bed" post was in response to everyone's blind sympathy for this kid. He's dead, people dieing sucks, but this kid brought it upon himself...bottomline.

What a terrible story, may he rest in peace, and all his cared ones not to suffer so much pain after their loss.
