Default BAD DAY for my Z today!

DARN!!!!! Well where do I start. Early before leaving i decided to finally put my black tailights (tint) on. So i do. Like a M*ron, i mess up both r full of bubbles and there goes my $55 I paid for it. It looks nice the color combo but its nasty when you get up close and see al that.

Then tonight coming back home I stopped by a pharmacy and coming out from the parkign lot, WAMMM!!!!!! I curbed one of my rims. GRrrrrr...........It may not be nothing for you guys but I feel fo rmy car and as picky as I'am Im mad.

To add fuel to the fire............my brakes are squealing like crazy again. Its like my Z is mad at me for something?

the bubbles dry up over time, and you can then take a needle and pop them. it always looks worse at first and gets better as it dries, in my experience.

I took my Z into the dealer about the squealing brakes. They said it's not the actual brakes that are the problem, it's a vacuum something or another that they are gonna replace for me (I'm not a gear head so I can't tell you exactly what it is)

I hear ya....

Yesterday, I was making a left on a green arrow, and a lady ran a red light in the opposing lane going almost 50, and almost smashed head on into me. I'm glad that I was in my Z.. I was able to brake and pull hard to the right to maneuver around her.

On top of this, on the same day, I get a nail in my rear Toyo T1-S's
Don't realize I have a nail, until I get to work. Find a local tire shop, and then realize that I don't have the wheel lock key so they can patch the tires. Added to this, the tire shop I make a stop at tell me they don't have the machine to mount my 20" iForged. So then I get referred to another shop that, by pure luck, had all the right tools and a great attitutde in solving my problem (BTW, if anyone needs a REALLY good tire shop in L.A. to mount/dismount/alignment, etc., let me know).

WHEW! Don't we all have days like this where no matter what you do, everything seems to go wrong? It's all okay, because once everything is said and done, I just come on here to vent which makes my day

I did the same to my front headlights with the clear protection kit. I put 1 on and totally messed it up. Tried the other...looked a little better but still pretty crappy. I ended up ripping them both off and frustrated anger. I both the whole 3m kit and now i wasted the headlight covers, so i need to find someone to install the whole front end kit. In the end, i wasted $45 on the headlight covers. Hope things go better with you.

I feel for you man. Im sure its just a bad day and it will not happen again.

It happened to me too. Broke up with my long term GF early in the day(6 years) ...and was late for my final that afternoon(important class) ...and when I came out of the class found a dent on my 1 week old Z(some idiot dont know how to park) ...oh, and it was a hit-n-run...

Dont worry, now the bad day is gone, all you have left are the good ones

Yeah, I wish I'd know about the bubbles getting better after a while. Because I put headlight overlays (I have hood spacers for my plenum spacer so the hood doesn't line up 100% at the headlights) and you could tell big time that they were overlays. Basically it looked stupid and when I saw it was full of bubbles I took them off. At least I only spent 20 bucks on them, but still. I was excited that they would look awesome and they just didn't. So, I feel your pain man, .
