I'm an idiot.
Having just purchased an 03' Z, I parked it next to my bike (Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan) in my garage. My wife parks her Explorer on the other side of the garage. I also have a Miata that is parked at the entrance to my driveway, directly behind the Z leaving me about 15' in which to back up before I need to turn so as to not hit the Miata. This morning, after coming home from a weeks vacation, I jump in the Z to drive to work. I start my turn a little too soon and catch the front bumper of the Z on the crash bar of my bike.
Needless to say, the bumper lost the battle. The bike is fine, it just moved back a few inches and never fell over, but now I'm looking at replacing the bumper as it's now pulled out from the fender a few inches and is bent.
Oh well on the bright side...at least now I'll have a bumper that is free of bugs and stone chips.

Thanks guys. Tell me more about aftermarket bumpers. EDIT: Nevermind, I just read a few posts about the Nismo replica bumpers. Hmmm....may be the way to go. The bad news is that I just ordered a street scene brush style grill for my OEM bumper last week!!

I'd be interested if you can't return it.
