Dude was that chrome silver Z that did 14.3 in the 2nd pic wearing G35 rims??? Man that looks pretty good. Better than the Z rims.

Driver's race. But if you require something in writing, the 287 hp '03 Z clocked in the following times per C&D (8/02 first test issue):

0-60 @ 5.4 seconds.
1/4 mile in 14.1 seconds at 101mph
Motor Trend gave it a 1/4 in 13.9 (I like that number better)

Each reviewer varies, just like each car and each driver. Hope someone can pull up the #'s for the '06 G35. Maybe that would help you.

+1 Yeah I like that number better too but I think they gave 0-60 of 5.8... I am not sure if it's them or R&T. R%T Speed is a good tuner mag tho.

You got to be kidding me. G35's can't beat the Z even with 11 more horse power. Think about it, you can't just compare Horsepower to Horsepower. Firstly, the G weights a few hundred pounds more. Secondly, I've driven a G35 and the response of the car is nowhere near the Z. Thirdly, the Z is more aerodynamic. Fourthy, the Z looks better.

03-05 faster then both the new 06 and G35.
Power to weight ratio and gearing are the MAIN factors when talking about speed...

Equal drivers, Z wins 9/10. It is not a drivers race, 11hp cannot overcome 200+lbs guys get real.

the fastest of all mag times for the 287 HP Z is 5.3 0-60, 13.77 1/4. I have NEVER seen the 298/300 hp car do anything close to that. Correct me if I am wrong.
