Default Road noise

I just purchased a 2003, touring coupe with 12000 miles. It is great. I do notice a lot of road noise and consequently, I have to turn the volume up on the radio to hear above the "noise". I told my dealer about it and they ordered two new front tires and will do an alignment. Will that fix my problem?

Thanks,
Larry

Yes. According to a letter sent to all 350Z owners, "We have since introduced in production a new tire with a slightly modified tread pattern which is more resistant to tire feathering . Vehicles equiped with these tires have experienced virtually no incidents of tire noise." Nissan will replace your front tires and give your car an alignment for free.

Are you accustomed to driving a 2 seat hatch back?
The road noise is in the front, rear or throughout the car?
What do the inside of the front tires look like?

Default Road Noise

My Nissan dealer installed 2 new front tires and did a front end alignment. My road noise is gone.

Yep I had the same thing. Got new tires from the dealer and its gone. But I bought rear tires later on and they were the bf goodrich kdw. Whatever you do dont buy them, great ratings but they sounded like I had Mickey Thompsons on my Z. 500.00 later I have the S03 pole position and they are much better
