Default Base dyno for my Z

Picked the car up Tuesday afternoon and wanted to get a look at what my gains will be as soon as I add more goodies to her.

The car is completely stock with the exception of a K&N Typhoon CAI.

230.2rwhp and 260.5ft lbs torque

Also went ahead and was curious what she'd tap out at since the quickest I ever got her to still had a good amount of fifth and sixth to go. That was 158mph @5700rpm in sixth.

I love the car so far and never get tired of driving it.

*edit*

I just found the intake/exhaust section, if this is in the wrong area please move it!

Your torque sounds a bit fishy. Your license plate says chicks by the way.

Yeah I may get it dynoed somewhere else because the HP is unusually low and torque is unusually high

Sorry for not clarifying, the car is an 04 with 12K miles on it when I purchased it. Don't worry about the plates, my new ones are coming in, those are just the ones that were on the car when I got it.

I think the dyno is right, you just aren't reading it right... just look at the lines. The line going up steep is the HP line, which reaches about 230 (numbers on the left). The more flat looking line (which zig-zags up and down, but mostly straight across) is your TQ line(numbers on the right). Notice it tops out around 225'ish. You obviously have the "old" motor which has the nice torque.

also.. ignore those spikes going up off the TQ line. They are misprints. just follow the actual line. That is where it got "260" TQ from one of the spikes, which isn't real.

Peak torque is 30 foot pounds greater than peak hp? Is that realistic for a stock 350Z?

Exactly.

The dyno is right, he just didn't read it correctly.
