Default 350 Z Engine Swap

I Was Talking To One Of The Machanics At Me Job And He Was Talking To Me About Swapping A 2005 Pathfinder Engine In A 350 Z.
Base On What He Told Me It's A Plug In Play And With The Low Compression Ratio Is A Lot Lower So You Can Run More Boost Maybe Close To 13 To 15 Psi. I Don't Know If It Will Work But If Any Of You Guy Have A Second Opinion On This And See What You Guy Think. It Sounds Good. The 4.0 V6 Has 270hp And 291torque.

Why? In theory it would work. Calling someone "insane" doesn't tell the rest of us WHY you "wouldn't do it". All I'm saying is "Grace us with your infinate knownledge O-Great one".

The only engine Im interested in swapping is the new 300hp Rev Up motor. It will still have the soul of the Z..And I would only do it if I blew my current motor...Dont know why everyone wants to put a different motor in the Z when you have all these guys making 400-600hp and counting on them......Weird..use the same money for that Pathfinder engine and TT or SC your Z.....

Thats what I was thinking when Jubie first posted. Sounds like it would be a MONSTER of a swap after FI. Might be cheaper than doing a Stroker kit with FI. What do you think?

It Would Be Easy To Just Tt Or Sc The Present 3.5 But Why Stop There. Did I Fail To Mention That The 4.0 V6 Catches 85% Of It's Hp And Torque At Around 2800 Rpm.

I would be more interested in maybe using the crank from the 4.0 to make a stroker 3.5

With FI, it would probably be a great swap! Or maybe 4.0 bottom end and 350 heads.

what about the new skyline motor into the Z...who needs to pay 60-70k for a bunch of sheet metal when you could possibly get the heart of godzilla in your already beautiful Z...minus the awd of course...well it could it be done...nevermind add the heart and the legs approx 10k is my estimate

I'd rather do the opposite and drop the new Z06 engine in my S-10.
