Default 2003 with fogging headlights...new headlight replacement?

My 2003 z's headlights are fogging up, i heard they will replace them under warranty. DO you guys think they will replace them with the new lights? I don't want them to b/c i hate the new style.......thoughts??

they wont replace them, they will just clean/polish them with 3M plastic cleaner and than 3M plastic polish. It works pretty good actually.

I would try the 3M Plastic Polish first. It may look like it is on the inside, but the majority of the time it is contamination on the outside. I've been through this one. I swore up and down it was on the inside. The dealer polished it with the 3M Polish. It was not there when he was done. They looked as good as the day I bought it. I use the polish every time I wash my car. Excellent....Excellent product the 3M is.

Infiniti refused mine under warrenty, they told me that it wasent fixable........I brought the car to my bodyman, and he polished them to a back to new status!!!! Try that or the 3M....

Mine is on the inside. It looks like the film left from water spots as they dry. My body guy tried some plastic polish on it because he even said it sometimes looks like it's inside when it isn't but it didn't help.

NOPE! MY LIGHTS FOG UP! at 23 K I MADE THEM REPLACED THEM! NEWARK NISSAN IN CA....I TOLD THEM that its there fault! and they better replaced them..you got to make them look like a IDIOT, you have to outsmart them..cuz its under warrenty!!! GO CHANGE THEM!! THEM FOG ***** ur lights up ! make them look UGLY! MAKE SURE U GO GET NEW ONES!goood luck!

I've tried Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner and Plastic Polish on several cars including my Z and they work very well. I used them with my porter cable polisher on other cars and the results were stunning. I haven't had the chance to try the polisher on my Z yet since I haven't bought any masking tape yet My results by just hand polishing were still great, though.
