Has anyone found some new 350Z websites? What is your opinion of them?

I've surfed a bit and find that I still wind up here and zcar.com to get most of my news and to have my forum fix.

I've noted several "new" sites recently...

350Zmotoring.com
club350.com
a few others.

What i have noticed is, with the exception of zcar.com (that has been around for quite a while), all these other sites seem to modeling themselves on this site.

 

I think www.350zforums.org is going to be a great site! I know the guys starting it, and i think it will be a very good site to visit, they are going to have a shop, a project car, and the more points you rack up will mean you get more discounts on the products from their shop, even free stuff, hats, shirts etc...

The shop will be www.350mods.com, its not up yet, but i know they will offer some stuff that no one else can get yet.

We are testing the fairlady Z / Mines chip right now for example.

I don't think they are 'modeling' themselves on this site, just many are using same forum software, which gives it a similiar look and feel.

Keep an eye on 350zfrenzy.com. I was talking with Jeremy (who runs that site) the other evening, and he has some great things in the works.

 

Isn't this against the rules? Where are the cops?

 

Hmm... against the rules??? Does it matter? they were made to be broken! I'm sure none of us completely follow "the rules" when we are driving our Zs anyway.

My thought is if there are two or three really good sites, they should collaborate instead of compete. A 350Z web ring of sorts.

I really do like the community here at my350z.com, but that doesn't mean I won't visit other good sites.

I really like the idea of a "shop car" associated with a site (if the site owners are not just trying to sell their own product).

Heard of the frenzy site, guess I'll need to check that one out.

 

seriously IF the mods wont let people talk about what other 350 sites are out there... there is seriously something wrong w/ that.... i hope they dont get that tense about this site...

I'm sorry, but did any of us say that? It's one of the members trying to start crap (and probably just joking anyway). People can talk about other sites all they want, just don't SPAM them or advertise for them, simple enough. All of the mods/admins go to other sites as well, so believe me, we're not that tense

 

ZGIRL is right! All of us admin look at our collaborators (friends) sites to see whats happening in the scenes. We are not that crazy about competition.

 

350zforums.org will have a "shop car" or project car as we call it.
We will be testing and using others parts on it to give others better insight on how they work.
