Default crashed....

rainy day and slippy road, not a good combination..... i was driving to work doing just 45mph on a 3 lane road. While i was changing to the middle lane, my z did a 270 degree turn and hit the curb on the other side of the road. That's 6 lanes in total The rear wheel on the passenger side took the impact and the whole thing is bent. Something similar happened early this yr but it went to a full stop before smashing into other cars on the other side. It was peak hr and im kind of relieved and lucky that nobody else was involved. Too bad I lost my 40% discount on car insurance but there were many close calls over the years, so screw it. Drive safe all!

Its not the Z, its the OEM tires. they suck on snow/water

i spent $600+ playing around in the rain. i lost control and was at the mercy of physics. Never mess around on wet pavment. everyone says the z is heavy, but on a rainy day it is as light as a feather!

I did the same thing too...just changed the rear control arm and fixed my wheel. up and running in a week. It takes about 30 minutes to change the control arm if they have it in stock, and you can drive with your stock wheels until your wheel is fixed.

Question

What do you think was the problem? Type of tires? Miles on the tires? Temperature?
