Default Sold my M3 yesterday

I sold my 1996 M3 for 65% of the original price. It was a great car. I have a Silverstone Track on order. I am tempted to switch to blue. Is the 350Z blue that much darker than the Estoril blue on the M3? That was the best colour BMW ever put on a car. Boggles the mind as to why they replaced it with Drakkar yellow as their unique M3 colour.

Must have been tough to watch your M3 pull away.....

I was fortunate enough to see the blue Z in person last Sunday in the Bay Area. I was not able to get a decent picture as it was in a very dark indoor museum. It is a very deep blue, absolutely beautiful.

Are you able to switch your color on your preorder?

I didn't watch the lucky guy drive away in my M3.

Unfortunately my other car is a Mazda Tribute in shadow grey which is likely going to be very close to silverstone in colour.

I have already been getting abuse from my friends as the idiot who will have two cars with the same colour.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's too late to make any changes if you're in the first batch of Z's coming to the USA. If you ordered yours recently, you might still be able to make changes.

I'd check as soon as possible, just so you don't end up getting boxed out!

My M3 was Estoril as well. I don't think we'll be able to tell until we see it in person. I'm guessing that the Daytona blue is more vibrant and will look darker on cloudy or overcast days.

I will also have to see my 1991 BMW M5 being driven away before I pickup my 350Z. There have been countless times where I am thinking of ways to keep both however impractical. The lottery just won't cooperate!

By the way, I did see the blue at the Blackhawk museum and it is stunning but I have decided to keep my Chrome Silver color. Life is full of tough choices but we should be happy that we are in a position to make this one.
