Question N/A Specs & Stats ? 0-60 times, 1/4 mi?

Still pondering FI and thought I might ask & see what kind of output people are getting while staying N/A and what mods they are working with...Thanks in advance for the input.

Peace,

Quarter mile ET is posted in “post you quarter mile ET here.” Its not a very original name for a thread, but hey, I didn’t pick the name. Most likely, a member will post ET, and the signature will show performance mods. As far as 0-60 mph times, how do you measure it?

When you get a chance, scan and post some of your recent time slips.

I run 13.13 @ 107, and 13.16 @ 106 NA with bolt-ons only, and a bad launch on slicks. Look in the mods and 1/4 info in my sigtnature to see what I have done and to see the vids of you want....

I will search for the 1/4 mile thread mentioned above and see what kind of results people are getting. I do not have any 1/4 mile stats as of yet, but am debating whether I want to go FI or remain N/A (possibly with an eye on FI in the future) and wanted to see what times people were getting with what mods, so that I may 'plan my attack' so-to-speak.

As far as the 0-60 times go, I have heard a number of people using the built in stop watch for this purpose (have no idea as to how accurate the results are), but I suspect just about any reliable stop watch would do the trick. While I am sure there are more scientific methods available, I'm looking for average times with what mods to get an estimate of what I might be looking at...

Thanks for the input, peace,

-jaxrm.

Alberto, thanks much for the info. Definitely some decent times with those mods. Checked out the list and watched the video, etc. Just purchased the car not too long ago, so I'm still in the early stages...Probably at least going to buy a plenum 1st from what others are say (probably the 1/4 spacer to be exact), I currently have an intake, new dubs w/Toyo Proxies, a new HU and some minor cosmetic upgrades. I've been hearing decent feedback regarding the final drive gear upgrade, but it's useless if I go FI in the future, so I'll have to make the decision beforehand or gamble and potentially lose a little (or a lot) later on. It's like 9 bills + shipping + install, so it's not a cheap mod (in my book anyway), but I have not heard any negatives for those who remain N/A.

Good luck with your progress and thanks for the stats for sure.

Peace,
-jaxrm.

Do you count drag radials as street tires? Tecnically they are, but most people consider anything geared toward dragging as not a street tire. That being said best I have seen is 13.4 on a street tire that IS NOT a DR. Briguymax with a pop-charger, test-pipes and DR's ran 13.3.

Last time I was on street tires I ran 13.5 @ 106 with a $HITTY 2.2 60ft(my worst ever). If that 60ft had been my usual 2.0, then that would have been a 13.2-13.3 run EASY. Ill run on street tires again and try to set a record like that.

My advise to you is to get a new Apexi RSM.....For reference a Dodge Viper does 0-100 in 8.3 seconds...A new Z06 does it in 7.6 seconds and a Mclaren F1 does it in 6.6 seconds.....See where Im coming from???

A stock or lightly modded Z is probably in the 14-15 second range to 100mph...Maybe you forgot to put a 1 infront of the 5.85
