Hey I am up at college all the time, what sort of things should I be doing for the Z when I leave her alone for monthlong periods? Battery charger? What else?

 

how far away are you going to college? if you are going to be on campus more than at home then i'd just take the car there...

Sometimes you're not allowed to have cars on Campus. I know we weren't when I was a freshman. Or perhaps this guy's school isn't in that great a place. There could be any number of reasons for it....but don't bash the guy. Just answer his question.

 

If you trust your car won't be touched then park on campus(if you can). Personally from what I have seen not that many people have Z's on college campuses. Most of them drive beater cars cuz they are struggling to pay for school and all. Some might get jealous and key your Z or worse.. Me, I park my car in my apt. garage and walk to school everyday. I personally had a bad experience with my Z in my off campus apt. complex earlier this year. The only time I take her out is if I go buy food or go home. Here at my campus people have reported their windows being broken into and getting stuff jacked or things like that. Plus you have to deal with door dings/ sh!tty drivers/jealous peeps/ etc. If your campus is safe and you feel like your car will be ok then go for it. But if you are **** about your Z( like me) then keep it at home.

 

And WTF is wrong with that?I did that when my car got fu*ked with. At least he doesn't have to worry about haters messin with his car.

+2 my friends go to some colleges that i wont drive my z there to visit overnight because its a bad area, i definitly would leave my car at my parents house if i was going to school in an area like that.

yeah well i live in texas, college is in maryland... no f'ing way am i driving it 1500 miles up to ghetto baltimore and shipping all my stuff up when im perfectly fine driving my beater truck that i got for free, in which i can put all my college stuff, and not care at all about getting dinged up which the truck always does, thank you SO much for answering the question everyo- OH WAIT, NOBODY DID...

all i wanted to know was stuff like should i leave it with a full tank or empty tank (evaporation and such...), should i get a battery charger, anything else...

come on guys, i clearly have my reasons to not take it up with me, all i wanted was a little help

full tank of gas with stabilizer in it, disconnect the battery, keep in a garage.

 

Have one of your family members start it and warm it up once a week.

 

There are many haters leave ur car at home. Some kid on g35driver got his G35 keyed on his campus.
