It wouldnt be hard to do it... Could they not take the G35X platform and make a Z ''X'' like they made the Z out of the G???

Before I bought my Z I went around town and test drove everything I could get my hands on. I drove pretty much everything on the road under 40k that weekend and I ended up with the Z because I got a good deal on it and I really liked it. Don't buy a car based on what some magazine says about it. And sure as hell don’t buy a car just because everyone else says that is the car you should buy. Buy a car because you want the car! After all, at the end of the day you’re the one driving home in it. Every car has its strengths and weaknesses and that is the way it always will be. The Z may not be king of the hill but it certainly does have some strengths that I find very pleasing and handling is one of them. It's just a matter of YOU deciding what strengths are important and what weaknesses are acceptable. Once you have decided that then you are ready to buy a new car!

4 wheel drive would be better, especially on damp roads, but the price increase would not be so welcome, not to mention the extra weight on the already fat 350Z

saying that the rustang outhandles the z is a joke. everybody who knows about cars knoww that the z handles great and the torqued-up engine makes it dangerous on corners. too much throttle, and your tail goes flying. from the article that was posted, that is exactly what was implied. but if you know how to use the rwd as an advantage, and you know how to control the throttle, you should have no problems.

remember, there is no ultimate fix for any car. each car have their advan's and disadvan's, it's all about how you utilize it. if awd was that great, every car would have it.

I find it hard to believe the handling is even close on the Stang with a solid rear axel and strut suspension.

there is nothing wrong with the Z's handling..and in bad weather AWD or not if its bad your gonna have problems. If you wear the correct shoes your fine.

Shoot, I slid my Evo right off the side of a winding road one day. AWD didn't help me any there.
