So I onw a '03 Z. Yeah all you owners know how it is to get compliments on the Z! These 2 dudes and a chick came into my job and after I had helped them I walked them out because we were closing, I locked the door behind me and walked towards my car, I hear "NICE CAR" so I look over and see the 2 guys and the chick walk over, So I was a nice kid I said thanx!, Then the snotty girls says Is that your car? Yeah its mine I said, Then she said.....You bought that car working here???????What the Hell does that mean??, She drove a pontiac sunfire, I wanted to say Sorry not all of us can afford a 3,000 dollar american piece of crap car!!. But I smiled and drove away. But I am a sales coordinator and make about 45k a year its not alot but I also own a House and am getting married, Im 22 and I payed cash for my Z! and Im really quick to pick a fight but in this case I lost and feel like crap!!!!

Who cares? This just goes to show how the average person thinks the 350z costs a lot more than it really does. Most would be surprised to hear they paid more for their gas guzzling SUV.

 

damn...i work at Cartier...in a huge mall..i make around 60 K a year...other similar boutiques get paid around 20-25k, i usually hang around the smoking section in my break, and talk to no one....
Then one day...a month ago, when i got my car...a girl saw me getting in it after work...next day..she and a couple of her friends start a conversation..i was cool, they say nothing about the car...in a weeks time..i am half way to knowing all the sales people...now i dont hang there much....

damn how poeple become friendly....
it really pisses me off....

Some people judge you upon what kind of job you have, especially in the sales/service industry. Since you service them, you must make crap for money.

I'm in the service industry(don't wanna specify, competition might be reading ), and we service a Mercedes/Audi/Porche dealer. At another location I was in, we serviced a BMW dealer. A LOT of people talk down to me, and automatically think they are better than me and I make jack squat for money. I'm 24, and at the end of december, i'm going to have made $43-46k (depending on my bonus) this year.
