I had a tranny grind, took it in to Nissan on a Monday AM, had the car back by Tuesday at noon... New tranny, new clutch, $0... can't beat that service.
If anyone in PA needs warranty work, I suggest Brenner Nissan on the Carlisle Pike...

I envy your service. I'm sick of this rental car.

Damn Bro they are extremely slow with your car. I drop my car off on a friday day. They purchase my tranny on that monday and was ready to be pick up on wednesday. This friday will be 1 full week of me driving my car with a new tranny.
Well, first they just wanted to replace parts. So I waited over a week for them to get those. They installed them, didn't work, so they ordered the new tranny. Now I'm waiting for that to come in! Who knows, maybe they got it yesterday and didn't tell me.
What is up with all the tranny grinds. I have a 2004.5 and I don't have any problems except when I pound on the car. If im driving normal or a tad above normal im fine, if im redlining every gear and quick shifting I may have a problem (B&M Short Throw), is they why you guys are having them replaced or does it grind all the time no matter what?

I had mine replaced and had to pay for the parts on the flywheel. As long as they don't have to replace the flywheel then you won't have to pay anything.

My car doesn't grind. It does seem to shift smoother if when I am idling around town or just going slowly; I use just a tad of gas going through the gears. Helps the syncros line up. Very, very smooth then. You don't even feel the syncros even. It also take out the feeling that you need to pause for a second between gears. Smooth as a baby's butt. If I am at a stop and have the car in neutral I make sure to press in the clutch and count to two before I try to put it in first or reverse. It allows the transmission to stop and sync up nicely. Same thing goes for my Firebird. It's just the best way I have found to save wear on the transmission. If I am flooring the car it shifts like grease lightening. Just go for it then !!!
