Thus you wait for a wet rainy day... goto an empty lot and start sliding

Like what I am about to do right now

Yeah, a rainy day would save a lot of tire wear for sure.

As for my tire setup I was running 18x8 and 18x9 Fondmetal 9x's that day. They're for sale now. 245 Nitto 555's up front and 265 Falken GRB fk-451's out back. After the event I switched to 17x9.5 5Zigen ProRacer GN+'s in Hyperblack(Gunmetal) with 275/40/17's front and rear. Got em here: http://www.splparts.com/Parts/Univer...en/default.htm I'll have to take some pics of the new wheels installed. Probably not the optimal drift setup but the car is set up primarily for road courses. Car seems to have much more grip now and steering is more responsive. Only track time will tell for sure though. Luckily the car seems to have plenty of power to get the wide tires spinning for drifting.

By the way, what's your wheel setup? 19''R, 18''F ?

Default Exhaust answers

Thanks for the compliment. The exhaust does sound pretty sweet and I've had several people comment on it at Motorsport Ranch and at the drift event.

The full exhaust consists of Crawford headers, generic/ebay resonated test pipes and y pipe and a 5Zigen Miracle exhaust. The Miracle is very lightweight-only 23.5 pounds which is a couple pounds more than the ProRacer A-Spec single I had on there before. It has slip joints instead of the thick heavier flanges used on most exhausts and even has hollow hangers.
Here is another pic I took that day at the event. I have a few more, I just need to upload them. I'll probably make a more in-depth post on the exhaust forum on it.

Here us a pic from SPL's website-that's my actual exhaust and can be seen here: http://www.splparts.com/Parts/Z33/En...st/default.asp

In the video I have the silencers removed. I usually keep them in for day to day driving just to keep it quiet and take them out at the race track. I've had many loud cars in the past and I like the versatility of this exhaust. I need to test out my new intake/exhaust combo at the drag strip and see if I've picked up any HP.

I watched the vids again and can't see a Cavalier in there anywhere. Maybe a 240 with some steel wheels?? I don't remember seeing any fwd's there at all but I spent more time driving than I did watching or perusing the pit area.
