holy crap.......ok........cough.......clear throat. I owned a type-s for 8 months/32,000 miles. We'll call it "project M"........M, for moneypit. I modded the holy hell out of it. Biglou, what in the hell were you doing 9k rpms on your stock rods, cams, springs, retainers, etc? You're just asking for trouble.....not to hurt your feelings jdm, but your racing header didn't help you much. Pussies, strapping all this crap on your engine; but never cracking open the brains. Anywho, I did.........and with toda, eagle, and various other parts on my side, proper tuning and iffy #'s on the dyno; I took it out on the street. I got my *** handed to me by a good friend's stock 99 m3.........and I drove the **** out of that poor car. I'm not new to this folks. Long story short, bye bye rsx, hello Z. Lost 4 grand on the trade in, broke even on the parts, and never looked back. So, please, sleep easy. Just don't try shifting gears with your *** crack and you should be fine. Also, could you please stop it with this racing from a roll 15 year old ***** ricer crap. Grow a pair, take it to a track and do it right. Or, do it at a stoplight and run over babies and puppies and crap. I don't care. I swear, this world's turning into one big giant super *****. If your car has no torque, and is slow as poo from a dead stop......deal with it crotchbreath. The rest of the world isn't going to conform to your car's power band to make you feel good.

And for christ sakes, please stop it with the, "my car's fast but it has like no torque, but its still blazing fast at 13,000 rpms on stock cams" crap. As a former honda enthusiast who learned the hard way with several vehicles, I know you're full of crap; and you're making me ill. And please, by god, dyno your vehicles at the same dyno after each mod. Trust me, you'll slit your throat when you see the numbers compared to the $$ you shelled out. You'd have been better off sitting on a bicycle with no seat. Same results, but cheaper.

I tell you what, if you're still wasting your time reading this, here's what the Z owner should do. Ignore it. RSX's aren't worth your time. Tell him to go race a scion. In the meantime, chill in the driveway with some tunes and put a fresh coat of carnuba on the Z. Later you can give him advice on how to fix his speeding ticket.

I feel better now, don't you? hehe
nice rant, gotta love the 2 am posts. .
ps, no one said i had stock internals.

Why is this even a thread? The Z is a 6, the RSX is a 4. Of COURSE the Z is faster, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out! Close the thread.

Just because it's a V6 doesn't mean it's going to be faster than an inline 4.

Compare the 6-cylinder camaro vs. the 4-cylinder s2000, srt-4, even the RSX Type-S. The I-4 is faster in these cases.

+1 to jun's statement, saying a car is faster just b/c it has more cylinders is total ignorance.

We don't get the type-R in the States, and I'm sure it's fast, but if you got beat by it, I'm willing to bet the guy didn't tell you everything he had under the hood, I mean bonnet, besides the chip upgrade. Or you can't drive...
